The L-39 Albatros is the only jet of the Lithuanian AF. Four of these
aircraft were delivered.
This pilots just finished his mission. This L-39 02 blue received a new
painting and a shark mouth.
In number the An-2 is the main aircraft of the AF. Many of these aircraft
are stored. This line is standing on Siauliai-Zokniai Air Base, a very
big former Soviet base.
Not the latest design, but a good plane for parachute dropping, people
carrier and light cargo. This picture shows the immense propeller.
These
An-2's are still in use. The last one didn't receive the new colours yet.
The first two in the row are painted in the new camouflage scheme. Both
aircraft are fitted with a painting (badge?). On the first aircraft you
can see an owl and the second aircraft is fitted with a tiger.

This Mi-8T (03 blue) crashed in the summer of 1997. Despite the heavy damage
the aircraft is rebuild. Currently this helicopter is flying in a camouflage
scheme.
Just five Mi-2 are delivered to the Lithuanian Air Force. All these helicopters
came from Polish sources. Here the 04 yellow is ready for take off from
Air Base Panevezys.
All Mi-2's are based on Panevezys having yellow codes. This one received
a tigerbadge visible above the fuel tank.
